Project Gabriel
Get involved to protect life! Don't miss our meeting Thursday, Feb. 4 at 6:30 at St. John's!
Project Gabriel is a hands-on way to be involved at St. John's. Everyone is needed! Project Gabriel is a church-based way for women in difficult pregnancies to get immediate, practical help. We pattern ourselves after the Angel Gabriel. Gabriel came to Mary telling her to not be afraid, and proclaimed that she would be the mother of Jesus. We call ourselves Gabriel "Angels" because we act as mentors, helpers, and prayer partners to these women most in need. St. John's is the 43rd parish in Indiana to start Project Gabriel. We began as part of the Great Lakes Gabriel Project. If you are interested in finding out more about the larger Great Lakes Gabriel Project or receiving their pro-life emails, click

St. John's Gabriel Angels work in pairs. We "Love them Both" by providing support to moms and their children. We discuss options with women including parenting and adoption. We offer services to women including: babysitting, preparing meals, shopping, or connecting them with other resources throughout the community. St. John's Project Gabriel has a Sign of Life (pictured above) which is visible from Boonville-New Harmony Rd, to connect women with our phone line.
