Father's Book of the Month
Join Father John and fellow parishoners in reading some great Catholic literature! Books are available in the commons. Here are the titles we've read so far:
I'm Not Being Fed by Jeff Cavins Cavins explores the reasons why many Catholics have left the Church for evangelical Christianity. He responds to the most commonly-heard complaint of these former Catholics — that they simply were not being “fed” by their Church and that they longed for a more personal, “spiritually nourishing” relationship with Jesus.

The How to Book of the Mass by Michael Dubruiel. How should you enter the church? How should you listen to the Scriptures? What if the homily seems boring? The How-To Book of the Mass not only provides the who, what, where, when and why of the most time-honored traditions of the Catholic Church, but also the how.

A Philadelphia Catholic in King James' Court by Martin de Porres Kennedy. A novel that follows Michael as he discovers and defends his faith. With his father gone, and his mother feeling that Michael is old enough to make his own decisions, can Michael find answers to the Protestant's questions concerning the "infatuation" with Mary, the papacy, and just the whole Church in general, in just the Bible?
