Dear Parishioners,

The Baltimore Catechism poses the question “Why did God create us?  Simply put, the answer is to know, to love and to serve God so that ultimately we may be with Him in heaven.  The goal we seek during our time on earth is eternal life with God in heaven.  This journey of faith begins at our baptism and is fulfilled through our life of faithful discipleship.

With knowledge of God’s plan for us, and the love he shares with us, we are called to follow the example of Christ by seeking not to be served but to serve.  As faithful stewards of Christ’s mission, we do not wait to be asked; rather we look for ways in which we can serve the Lord.  When stewardship becomes a way of life, our lives are directed toward God in heaven.

As we renew our commitment to the Stewardship way of life, may each of us respond generously with our time, our talent, and our treasure and continue to always know, love and serve the Lord.  The guidebook, attached under "Time, Talent, and Treasure," will help you identify your unique gifts that will enable you to best serve the Church and the Lord.

A special thanks to Rose Zigenfus, parishioner, for her hard work
and countless hours on this guidebook.
