Prayer Chain:
Ruth Bandas, Chairperson
Mission:    To promote our love of God through prayer for the needs and intentions of others.
Activities:    To pray for the request of those in need via phone chain or e-mail chain.

Religious Vocations:
Bernadine Read, Chairperson
Mission:    To help foster priestly and religious vocations
Activities:    Members assist the pastor and all parishioners to become more aware of the fact that Christ is calling everyone to a particular vocation in the church.  Among those, we can be confident that some are called to be priests and some to be sisters.  Committee members help to create an atmosphere in which the call may be heard and encouraged.
This committee welcomes all parish members to join one or more of its subgroups to help foster and support vocations.
1.    31 Club:  Individuals commit to offering a Mass and prayers one day each month for vocations to the priesthood and religious life.
2.    Write to a Seminarian or person studying for religious life:  Parishioners write letters to individuals studying for the priesthood or religious life.
3.    The Elijah Cup:  Each weekend, the priest, at the end of Communion, calls a family, couple, or individual forward to receive this Chalice (at any Mass of your choice). The priest encourages them in their prayers for vocations. The Elijah Cup is returned to the priest.
