Knights of Columbus:                                 
Ken Nowlan, Chairperson
Mission:    Involvement in the Knights of Columbus provides opportunities of charity and fraternity to serve St. John, the Diocese and the National Level. 
Activities:    Meetings are held the 1st Tuesday of the month.

St. Ann Altar Society:
Terri Neumann, Chairperson
Mission:
    To provide all of the women of the parish with opportunities to meet and join in social, educational and spiritual activities.
Activities:    St. Ann Altar Society organizes the spring and fall parish dinners.  The proceeds from these dinners are used to supply items used in the Church such as; altar bread, wine, candles, etc.  A portion of the proceeds are donated to various charities. Quarterly meetings are held and a delicious meal is enjoyed by everyone.

St. John Fall Dance:

Mission:
    A social event to provide an atmosphere for “FUN” for the adults of the parish.  These dances are organized by the Men’s Club and Knights of Columbus

St. John Lap Quilters:
Jackie Dent, Chairperson
Mission: 
   To provide lap quilts to the sick, infirmed and newly baptized babies and to meet the needs of the Deaconess Riley Children’s Specialty Center. All quilting materials are donated by the church and individual parishioners.
Activities:    Lap Quilters meet every Wednesday morning following the 8 a.m. mass to sew and share talents.  Each parishioner works on a special quilt for either an adult or a child. 

St. John Men’s Basketball:

Mission:  
  To provide an opportunity for men over the age of 18 who would like to play basketball for recreation and fellowship.
Activities:    Those men interested in playing basketball will meet in the church gymnasium Monday evenings from 7  to 9 p.m.

St. John Men’s Club:

Mission:  
  To foster Christian fellowship between the men of the parish.
Activities:    The Men’s Club is called upon to do many services for the parish.  They set up tables and chairs for various events.  They are responsible for maintaining the lights in our tall ceilings.  The Men’s Club organizes a fish fry each year during Lent as well as the steak dinner in the summer and parish dances.  They also have a sausage grind twice a year and bake delicious kuchens which are sold at various Masses.  The proceeds allow them to generously donate to many charitable organizations in our community.  The Men’s Club meets the 2nd Tuesday of each month where they enjoy a delicious meal and social activities.

St. John Parish Picnic:

Mission:
    To develop Christian fellowship in a fun atmosphere.
Activities:    The St. John Parish Picnic is a time for the parish members to relax, have a good meal and enjoy fellowship.  There are various games for adults and children to be played.  This is great fun for everyone.

St. John Quilters:

Mission:  
  To furnish a quilt to be raffled off at the spring and fall dinner events or parish summer social.  Ladies of the parish have been quilting weekly since the 1950’s.
Activities:    Quilters meet on Tuesday morning after mass at the church. Hand quilting is also done for individuals. Any funds raised are donated to various charities and to our parish to meet a special need.

St. John Spring Dance:

Mission: 
   A social event to provide an atmosphere for “FUN” for the adults of the parish.  These dances are organized by the Men’s Club and Knights of Columbus.

St. John Square Dance:

Mission: 
   To develop Christian Fellowship through dancing.
Activities:    The square dancing club meets on the 3rd Friday of each month. Square dance lessons are available once a year. Everyone over the age of 13 is welcome.  Grab a partner and come dance with us.

St. John Steak Night:

Mission:
    To develop Christian fellowship while fundraising for the parish.
Activities:      This activity is held in the summer.  There are games of chance and entertainment.  This is a time for parishioners to work together for a successful, fun event.

St. John Summer Social:

Mission: 
   To develop Christian fellowship while fundraising for the parish.
Activities:    This one day social is held in the late summer/early fall. The fall parish dinner is incorporated into this event.  This is a time for parishioners to work together for a successful, fun event.

Senior Citizens Club:
Virginia Miller, Chairperson
Mission:   
To provide spiritual, educational and social activities for the members of the parish.
Activities:    The Senior Citizen group meets the 1st Thursday of each month to attend Mass, have an enjoyable lunch and social time.
